Chicago: "a hell of a town"
In light of NEXT 2010: The Invitational Exhibition of Emerging Art in Chicago, I would pay homage to the city in which I attended graduate school with a round up of awesome things going on there as we speak – right there in the second city (that’s right, I said it)! TPP contributor, the jogging lives and works there. So does Daniel Everett whose work was just featured at MCA Chicago’s 12X12 program. Heidi Norton lives, works and teaches there along with peers, Anna Shteynshleyger, Jason Lazarus, Brian Ulrich and Barbara Kasten. All of these photo world heavies have the option to show at great spaces like Hungry Man, Swimming Pool Project Space, Golden Gallery, Andrew Rafacz Gallery and Monique Meloche Gallery among many many others! Now, enjoy this great work and take a moment and reflect on whether or not you should move to the windy city.
