I have to admit, the whole category of “Beauty Photography” is a bit of a mystery to me. But today I wanted to find some pictures with a Marilyn Minter quality- you know, immense amounts of glitter and fantasy and a tiny bit of violence.
I think I’ve found what I wanted, in Isabelle Bonjean’s work.
There’s even a lobster claw, which is a bonus. I think you’ll see big things from lobsters in the photography realm in 2010. Huge trend, major. McQueen knew it.
When I get married I want fake freckles and a blue tiara. And a yellow dress.
