I like it when old things come back into style and new things get created. In honor of old and new this morning, let’s check in with Christine Caldwell and Carmen van den Eynde.
Christine is making photograms. Remember them? No need for a camera, you expose paper with an object right there in the darkroom and a magical creation is born.
Carmen is using new technology to make flower scans. No need for a camera, you pop the object right on the scanner, and voila!
I guess artistic humans just have the need to shine light through their flowers. Makes sense.
