The Photography Post Market column highlights items for sale in our market. We also invite guest contributors to add items to our shops.

Oh hello, folks. It’s Rachel here. It’s hot out, have you noticed? It’s really really hot. It’s muddling my head. I figured out this year, finally, that the flu shot makes me feel muddled for days. I think I’m allergic to the preservatives.

Vaccinations will be a theme of sorts today, because we’re offering two sizes of this WPA print that I LOVE:

Dr. Schreiber of San Augustine giving a typhoid innoculation at a rural school, San Augustine County, Texas
Vachon, John (1914-1975) photographer
Date Created/Published: 1943 April
Part of: Farm Security Administration – Office of War Information Collection

I love searching the Library of Congress’s online catalog, which I’ve crowed about before. I highly recommend it.

I’ll show you a bit about how these prints came to be.

1. I searched:

2. I corrected:

3. I put on the wall:

(your picture will be Kodak Endura Metallic, though, so it will be better and look like a cibachrome.)
